The conference is designed to provide a showcase of models, technologies and applications from the US environmental industry that can benefit Vietnam’s economic development goals. We are bringing a trade delegation to the conference and working with key U.S. government agencies, the U.S. Embassy and the Embassy of Vietnam to that end. We expect key decision makers from various government ministries and U.S. and Vietnamese businesses to attend. The timing is important as Vietnam is currently chairing the 2010 ASEAN Summit in Hanoi this July and the issues discussed will have great value for the region.
The conference will take a comprehensive look at the key environmental and climate change issues from different vantage points, presented by both business and government stakeholders. There is a real need for the solutions that will be presented and we will work with key business, scientific, research and funding groups to provide holistic solutions that will most helpful to Vietnam.
